Collaborate. It seems like such a simple piece of advice, and yet, it can feel impossible at the very first step. How do you find a collaborator? Especially when you’re pursuing a unique research interest at your program?
GEIG offers this collaborator site for graduate students and faculty to find research partners across the wide field of communication interests.
The ground rules:
- You don’t have to have a specific research project in mind, but you must have a focused area of interest.
- Postings must include your first name, an email address and a brief summary of your research interest. It is helpful to include research style (qualitative, quantitative, legal, historical, etc) if that is not already clear.
- Postings must be legitimate. Please do not abuse the site. Suspicious postings will be removed.
- All postings are moderated, but will be reviewed within 24 hours.
